The Rise and Roar fair took place in the Winnet Courtyard on Wednesday, September 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event highlights the many student clubs, organizations and campus resources available at Community College of Philadelphia.
Food and refreshments were served, and the festivities included a DJ and lawn games.
Eighteen organizations were represented at the fair, and an estimated 300 students attended, according to The Office of Student Engagement.
Kelly Pinto, director of Student Engagement and Belonging, delivered the following opening remarks at Rise and Roar:
“Rise and Roar is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible student leaders, organizations, and opportunities that make our campus community vibrant and engaging. Whether you’re a returning student, new to CCP, or simply looking for ways to get more involved, today is about making connections, discovering resources, and finding your place within our Pride.”
During the event, Student Government Association and Phi Theta Kappa swore in leadership for this academic year.
